A “slap” rang in Raymond’s head. He felt like he had just been slapped hard by Scarlett.

The slap was invisible, but it was more embarrassing than a real slap.

His face darkened, and he looked coldly at Frank. “What’s there to look at?”

Frank stiffened and stood there while Raymond looked at him, his scalp tingling.

After Scarlett finished, she turned to look at Alexis. Alexis was startled for a while before she came back

to her senses, then she picked up her bag and went after her. Raymond’s face was blue as he stood

there.
